Associate Attorney
Jonathan Katz, Esq. is an Associate Attorney at Lyons Law Group in Florida, bringing experience in civil litigation, motion practice, discovery, trial preparation, and advocacy.
While attending law school, Jonathan competed in numerous national mock trial competitions. He was also selected to participate in the Barry University Juvenile Defense Clinic where he gained experience in drafting pleadings and motions.
Since admission to the Florida Bar, Jonathan has worked on a broad range of civil litigation matters, including real estate, contracts, landlord-tenant disputes, construction defect, and general business litigation. His practice involves drafting and arguing motions, managing discovery, preparing for trial, and researching nuanced legal topics.
Although born in Brooklyn, New York, Jonathan has resided in Melbourne, Florida for most of his life and considers himself a Floridian. Outside the office, he enjoys cooking, fishing, spending time with family, and working on DIY projects.
