At Lyons Law Group, growth has always been intentional. As a dynamic, client-focused law firm dedicated to providing top-tier legal representation, we continuously evaluate how to best serve our clients while supporting the professional development of our team. As part of that commitment, we are excited to share an opportunity for an experienced Civil Litigation Associate Attorney to join our firm in Melbourne, Florida—working fully in-person and on-site at our office.

This opening reflects both our expanding caseload and our long-term vision: building a collaborative team of attorneys who value mentorship, independence, and exceptional advocacy. While this opportunity was initially shared through our LinkedIn and Google Business profiles under a “We Are Hiring” announcement, we recognized that it also deserved a more permanent home here on our website.

The Civil Litigation Associate Attorney role at Lyons Law Group is designed for an attorney with approximately two to four years of civil litigation experience who is ready to take the next step in their career. This is not a remote or hybrid role; the position is fully in-person and on-site at our Melbourne office, allowing for direct collaboration, mentorship, and hands-on case involvement.

The selected attorney will manage cases of varying complexity from inception through resolution. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents; conducting legal research and case investigations; and representing clients in court proceedings, depositions, mediations, and negotiations.

Strong client communication is a cornerstone of our practice, and this role requires the ability to provide clear, strategic legal counsel while maintaining professionalism and responsiveness. The associate will also work closely with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure cases are handled efficiently and thoughtfully.

Ideal candidates hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school and are licensed to practice law in Florida in good standing with the Florida Bar. We value attorneys who demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent oral and written communication abilities, and proficiency in case management and legal research software.

Equally important is the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment while managing multiple cases independently. This position offers the opportunity to grow into an independent practice within the firm while benefiting from mentorship and guidance along the way.

Lyons Law Group offers a competitive salary range of $70,000–$100,000+, commensurate with experience, along with healthcare and related benefits, paid holidays and vacation time, and opportunities for professional development and career growth. Our firm culture is supportive, team-oriented, and grounded in mutual respect—for both our clients and our colleagues.

If you would like to be considered for our Associate Attorney role, you are welcome to submit your resume, cover letter, and relevant writing samples to contact@lyons-law-group.com.

Even once a position is filled, we believe transparency and accessibility matter. Keeping this post available allows prospective candidates to learn more about our firm, our values, and the type of professionals we seek to bring onto our team. Growth is ongoing at Lyons Law Group, and the right opportunity may arise sooner than expected.

Whether you are an attorney actively seeking your next role or simply interested in learning more about our firm, we invite you to connect with us and stay engaged as we continue to serve our clients and our community here in Melbourne, Florida.
